The Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro are rumoured to come with MediaTek and Qualcomm chips, respectively.
A report in WinFuture has given us the detailed specifications of the Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro, along with marketing images of the two devices. The report also says that the Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro will be toned-down flagships from the brand. It hints that the Xiaomi 12T smartphones will take ahead the practice of "downgrading the top devices a bit in terms of equipment for the second half of the year," something we have seen OnePlus also do with the OnePlus 10T 5G.
The WinFuture report hints that the Xiaomi 12T Pro may come with a flat 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 2,712 x 1,220 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It will also come with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, the report says. Under the hood, the Xiaomi 12T Pro will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
The Xiaomi 12T Pro has also been rumoured to come with a 200-megapixel camera. The smartphone may have a triple rear camera setup that will include a primary 200-megapixel shooter with an f/1.69 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle shooter, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. Up front, the Xiaomi 12T Pro will have a 20-megapixel selfie snapper.
Coming to battery, the Xiaomi 12T Pro has been rumoured to come with a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging. Connectivity options on the smartphone will include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, and more.
The vanilla variant of the Xiaomi 12T Pro will also have the same 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, the Xiaomi 12T is said to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage.
The Xiaomi 12T will also have a triple rear camera setup, but with a 108-megapixel primary shooter with an f/1.65 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle shooter, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. Up front, the Xiaomi 12T will also have a 20-megapixel front camera.
Battery and charging specifications on the Xiaomi 12T also remain the same as its elder sibling, with a 5,000mAh unit that supports 120W fast charging.
The WinFuture report says that the Xiaomi 12T Pro could cost EUR 850 in Europe (roughly Rs 67,800). On the other hand, the Xiaomi 12T could be priced at around EUR 650 (roughly Rs 52,000). This, however, is the rumoured price for Europe, and the prices in India are not expected to be higher than this.
