Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is preparing to unveil the Xiaomi 13 series for its global consumers at the Mobile World Congress, which will take place in Barcelona from February 27th to March 2nd. Ahead of the launch event, the prices of the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Lite 5G have been revealed by tipster Roland Quandt on Twitter. It has to be noted that, recently, the live images of the Xiaomi 13 Lite were leaked, hinting that it is a rebadged version of the Xiaomi Civi 2 5G. The tipster revealed that the Xiaomi 13 5G with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage would be launched for EUR 999 (approx Rs 88,117). The same variant was unveiled in china for CNY 4,299 (approx. Rs 51,000).

The Xiaomi 13 was launched in China with a 6.36-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, up to 1900 nits peak brightness, and a punch-hole cutout. It sports a Leica-equipped triple camera setup on its back consisting of a 50MP main camera, a 10MP telephoto sensor, and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. It has a 32MP camera on the front.

The Xiaomi 13 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. It houses a 4,500mAh battery with 67W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W wireless reverse charging support. An in-display fingerprint sensor is there for security.

On the other hand, the Xiaomi 13 Lite 5G will likely be priced at EUR 499 (approx Rs 44,000) for the 8GB+128GB storage variant. The smartphone looks expensive compared to the Xiaomi Civi 2 5G. The latter was launched in China at a starting price of CNY 2,399 (approx Rs 28,900) for the 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
