Xiaomi has added a new product to its lineup in India called the Mi Car Charger Basic. It comes as a successor to the Mi Car Charger with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology for an 18W fast charging support. The dual USB ports on the device allow you to charge two devices simultaneously.

The Xiaomi Mi Car Charger Basic has been priced in India at Rs 449. It is available in just a back colour variant and goes for sale in the country starting today exclusively on Mi.com. T.he device has six months of warranty and comes bundled with a user manual.
Xiaomi Mi Car Charger Basic specifications
The Mi Car Charger is packed in a compact design made out of ‘high-quality polycarbonate material.’ The face of the device has a Red USB port and a black USB port. The former offers fast charging support with 9V/2A or 12V/1.5A output current, while the black port is standard with 5V/1A supply. A blue LED ring around the ports ensures that the device is working. Furthermore, the charger is compatible with both 12V/24V types of DC socket found in cars.
As per Xiaomi, the Mi Car Charger Basic comes clad with Advanced chipset for ‘higher safety.’ The chipset uses four layers of circuit to deliver fast charging while ensuring the safety of the devices and car. The dimension of the charger is as follows 5.6mm in height and 2.5mm in width.
