Mi MIX 4 launch has been confirmed by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun, who also revealed plans to launch new Xiaomi tablets as well.

Xiaomi also plans on cementing its position in the connected devices ecosystem. It has also increased its research and development funding, a part of which will be used to hire up to 5,000 additional engineers. The company also plans on collaborating with real estate developers to integrate Xiaomi-branded smart devices into new constructions. Jun's vision is to see a Xiaomi smart display in every Chinese household.

The yet-to-be-named Xiaomi tablet will need to keep up with modern-day offerings to stay relevant. Therefore, we can expect to support stylus inputs, something that is becoming increasingly commonplace in the tablet market. Lastly, Xiaomi has plans to launch more devices made out of ceramic and other premium materials. These will likely be manufactured in limited quantities, and act as limited edition variants of Xiaomi's high-end offerings.
