Apple is reportedly planning on launching a new 16-inch MacBook Pro with the new scissor keyboard design, refreshed iPad Pro model and Apple Tags item tracker at its October event. For those unaware, Apple hosted an event on October 30th last year and is expected to continue the same trend this year as well, according to MacRumors report. Furthermore, the 16-inch MacBook Pro is said to have the same physical size as the 15-inch MacBook Pro but will come with reduced bezels instead. It is expected to rock 3072×1920 pixels resolution.
As for the iPads, Apple introduced an 11-inch and a 12.9-inch iPad Pros in 2018 and this year, and the Cupertino giant might upgrade these with the new A13 Bionic chipset that debuted in the iPhone 11-series. However, nothing can be said about the design changes at the moment. Apple might also introduce a new Tag item tracker, that was the spotlight during the iOS 13 announcement. It is a small accessory that can be attached to the items, thereby making to easy to track. The device is said to come with augmented reality features to find lost items easily.
Either way, there's still no way to say that Apple would host an event sometime this month, but given that it did so in the past five years, it's a possibility. The October event every-year mainly focuses on MacBooks and iPads. Apple analyst Neil Cybart claims that October 28th could be the date of the event, which is the same week as the Apple TV+ launch. Since everything is based on reports, we suggest you take this with a pinch of salt, until confirmed officially.
