Earlier today, there were reports that over 50 Chinese apps were banned in India. The reports suggested that the government of India banned around 54 apps that included previously banned apps that have resurfaced as clones. Among the list of banned apps in India, Garena Free Fire seems to be included as well. The popular game was pulled from Google Play Store and Apple App Store today. While we did not have a list of all 54 apps banned in India earlier, we now seem to have more clarity. An alleged list of banned apps in India has popped up on social media platforms like Twitter and it reveals all the 54 apps that have supposedly been banned. It is unclear at the moment if this is an official list.
