“The new Nokia 3310 features a 2MP camera, a colour display and the iconic Snake game”
At MWC in February, HMD Global unveiled the modern avatar of the classic Nokia 3310 feature phone. Now after months of waiting, the company has finally launched the phone in India.
The Nokia 3310 sports a new candy bar design in a range of peppy colours. The phone features a 2.4-inch QVGA polarised colour display that offers better readability in sunlight. The device gets a redesigned user interface and features 16MB of storage, which can be further increased up to 32GB by inserting a microSD card.
The Nokia 3310 (first impressions) gets a 2-megapixel rear-facing camera, accompanied by an LED flash. There’s a 1,200mAh battery on board, which the brand claims can deliver a standby time of up to a month. The connectivity options include 2G, Bluetooth 4.0 and micro-USB. The iconic Snake game is also present on the phone, which now offers enhanced graphics.
The new Nokia 3310 has been priced at – wait for it – Rs 3310, and will be available starting May 18th across offline stores. The phone is being offered in four hues – Warm Red and Yellow, which sport a glossy finish, and Dark Blue and Grey, which offer a matte finish.
