Android 14 release date apparently confirmed
- The Canadian carrier Telus has listed the update will seemingly roll out on October 4th, which is the same day as the Pixel 8 lineup’s unveiling.
- Interestingly, the Pixel 4a is also present in the eligible models list to receive the Android U update when it goes out.
- Android U is short for Android Upside Down Cake, which is the internal codename for Android 14 OS.
- The Telus listing appears to be taken down now as Google might have asked the carrier to take it down following various online reports.
- Since Google hasn’t made any official announcement on the matter, we suggest you take this news with a pinch of salt and wait for more details to be revealed in the next 48 hours.
