[IFA 2015]: Acer unveils the gaming-centric Predator 8 Android tablet

In addition to the Predator 6 smartphone and Predator projector, Acer has also introduced the Predator 8 gaming tablet at this year’s IFA. The new Acer tablet sports an appealing design, and comes with four speakers that are located on the four corners at the front of the device to create an ideal gaming experience with a high-quality audio output.

The Acer Predator 8 has TacSense haptic feedback and offers two powerful haptic motors that are specially tuned for gaming. It has soft-touch grip pads at the rear to offer a firm grip while playing games. The haptic motors in the slendor chassis create better gaming environment for you to feel incoming damage and weapon recoil, says the brand.

The Acer Predator 8 offers an 8-inch full HD display, and is powered by an Intel Atom x7 processor, further supported by 2GB of RAM. It comes with 32GB or 64GB of internal memory variants, an 8-LP Intel HD Graphics, dual-band Wi-Fi with the latest 2×2 Intel MIMO wireless technology, and a microSD card slot.

There’s no word on the availability of the Android Lollipop-based Acer Predator 8 at the moment. It’s expected to first go on sale in the United States for prices starting at around Rs 19,800.
