Leading telecom network Airtel has announced 5G Plus services in Jammu and Srinagar. The network is currently operational at Raghunath Bazar, Gandhi Nagar, Channi Himmat, Panjthirthi, Jammu secretariat, Bahu fort, Bahu Plaza, Jammu railway station, Govt medical college, Canal Road in Jammu and Lal Chowk, Dal lake, Rajbagh, Kashmir University, Karan Nagar, Channpora, Srinagar secretariat, Nishat Garden, Chashma shahi, Old city in Kashmir and few other select locations. Customers with 5G-enabled devices can enjoy the high-speed network at no extra cost and there is no need to change their SIM cards.

Furthermore, Airtel says that it will augment its network making its services available in the Union territories of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh in due course of time. Airtel 5G will allow superfast access to High Definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos and more.

Airtel 5G in Jammu and Srinagar

Airtel 5G is already available in Mumbai, Delhi, Nagpur, Varanasi, Panipat, Gurugram, Patna, Shimla, Ahmedabad, Vizag, Pune, Guwahati, Imphal, Chennai, Bengaluru, Siliguri, Lucknow and others. Airtel announced that its 5G services will be available in key metros by the end of this year, all of urban India in 2023 and across the country by March 2024. The existing Airtel 4G SIM is 5G enabled, meaning no SIM change is needed to enjoy 5G services.
