Airtel 5G Plus services are now available in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. The latest network is currently operational at Mall Road, Sanjoli, Dhalli, BhattaKufar, Ridge and Sanjoli Helipad Area, and a few other select locations. The telco said that customers with 5G-enabled devices can enjoy a high-speed Airtel 5G Plus network at no extra cost until the rollout is more widespread. Airtel also said that it will augment its network making its services available across the city gradually in the coming days.
Airtel 5G services available in these cities
To recall, Airtel 5G is already available in Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Siliguri, Nagpur, Varanasi, Panipat, Gurugram, Guwahati, Patna, and Lucknow. Shimla now joins the list. The 5G network will bolster the entire portfolio of services that the telecom network offers.
Airtel already announced that its 5G services will be available in all key metros by the end of the year and all of urban India in 2023. The telecom promises to complete the rollout across the country by March 2024. The current 4G SIM is 5G enabled so users don’t have to change the SIM card to enjoy the latest services.
Airtel 5G Plus network will allow superfast access to High Definition video streaming, gaming, multiple chatting, instant uploading of photos, and much more. In comparison, Jio promises to finish the rollout across the country by December 2023.

Airtel customers can now experience ultrafast networks and enjoy speeds up to 20-30 times faster than the current 4G speeds.
