However, some things also lead us to believe that the leaks and rumours point towards two different devices, both with a periscope zoom lens. Accordingly, we may as well be looking at the Realme GT 5 Pro details. Let’s try to understand.
Realme 12 Pro+ render (expected)
A Weibo user shared a supposed render of a Realme phone. He called it to be of Realme GT 5 Pro, but the rear camera panel’s design is a clear distinction from that of Realme GT 5.
Rather, the circular camera ring shares the design language of Realme’s numbered series phones like the Realme 11 Pro+.
However, it hasn’t been much time since the Realme 11 Pro series launched, and some reports also point towards an impending arrival of the Realme GT 5 Pro.
Realme 12 Pro+ price (expected)
Tipster DigitalChatStation recently posted about an upcoming Realme phone that could be priced around 2,000 Yaun (roughly Rs 22,801.49), and if you recall, the Realme 11 Pro+ also launched in China at around the same price.
So, we take it as a hint that suggests it is the Realme 12 Pro+ we are talking about.
Realme 12 Pro+ features (expected)
The aforementioned concept render shows the device having a small rectangular cutout within its circular camera island. This looks very much like a periscope zoom lens and if true, it could endow longer zoom capability to the Realme 12 Pro+ users.
Besides this telephoto zoom lens, we also see two more circular rings in the camera island, suggesting a triple rear camera setup on this phone.
DigitalChatStation (DCS) hasn’t spelt out the name of the phone yet but the use of a cat emoji (like the company mascot Realmeow) and a digital tag suggests this could be a Realme numbered series phone.
The tipster has mentioned this upcoming Realme phone could bring an attractive design too like the OPPO Find X6 series.
Meanwhile, DCS has also posted about a Snapdragon Gen 3-powered Realme phone which is more likely the Realme GT 5 Pro.
So, either there could be two Realme phones with periscope lenses or it’s all just one device. We are awaiting more concrete evidence to know what’s what.
