Amazon Fire Stick Lite has been launched in India as a cheaper version of the standard Fire TV Stick. It has the same design as the original model from 2020 but comes with the new Alexa Voice Remote Lite that has app controls to switch between applications. The remote control has shortcuts for Prime Video, Netflix, Amazon Music and Apps. The Amazon Fire Stick Lite connects to TVs via an HDMI port and offers FHD video playback with HDR technology. This is claimed to offer an immersive viewing experience.
The Amazon Fire Stick Lite’s remote control has a Blue shortcut button to summon Alexa for a hands-free voice search.
Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite price in India
The Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite with the Alexa Voice Remote Lite is priced at Rs 2,999 in India. This is the same price as the official launch price of the original Fire TV Stick Lite. The older variant’s price is discounted by Rs 500 and the effective price is now Rs 2,499. It should be noted that the older version doesn’t come with the new Alexa Voice Remote Lite and has a remote without the dedicated app buttons.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick offers FHD video playback with HDR technology. It packs 8GB of onboard storage and is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor with IMG GE8300 GPU. It comes with a new Alexa Remote Lite that features dedicated buttons for popular streaming applications like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Prime Music. It has a new Blue button to summon Alexa.
Connectivity options on the stick include Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth version 5.0, an HDMI port, and a micro-USB port.
