Apple’s first mixed-reality headset will have limited release around late 2022: Kuo

The Apple AR/VR headset will be available around late 2022. Kuo says there will be a delay in the production of the VR headset due to the advanced hardware and complicated design. We can speculate it will be better compared to rival products. Unfortunately, Kuo hasn't mentioned the date for the launch or shipping date of the Apple VR/AR headset. But we're hoping the availability, though, in limited numbers, could begin at the end of 2022, we can expect a November or December release.

Unfortunately, not much else is known about the Apple VR/AR headset at the moment, but recent rumours have said it will have a unique three-display configuration" where two are Micro OLED display, while the other is an AMOLED panel. The functionality of the three displays is unclear at the moment but rumours point to the headset having advanced sensors for environment and gesture detections. It is said to have a powerful chipset to light up three displays. Lastly, the advanced AR/VR headset from Apple is said to be priced as high as $3,000 (approx Rs 2,23,350).
