Apple OLED iPad Pro, new iPad Airs expected

  • The long-rumoured OLED iPad Pro is expected to be unveiled at the event. There could be 11-inch and 13-inch options with repositioned, horizontal front-facing cameras.
  • The refreshed iPad Air lineup could see the inclusion of a 12.9-inch display size, besides the regular 10.9-inch inch options. Both could come with Mini LED displays.
  • All the new tablets are expected to be powered by the M3 chipset.
  • A new Apple Pencil and a redesigned Magic Keyboard with an aluminium build and larger trackpad are also expected. In fact, the launch event invite features a pencil in the caricature, hinting at its imminent launch.

Two iPad models were spotted on India’s BIS certification website recently with model numbers A2836 and A2837. It’s unclear to which tablets they belong. However, Apple fans may be disappointed to know that the new iPads’ prices are expected to be higher this time around.
