• Apple MacBook Air powered by the M2 chipset is currently available at a discounted price on Flipkart. You can get it for Rs 94,990 after a discount from its original price of Rs 1,14,900.
• There are more offers that would lower the price of the MacBook. These include a 10 percent instant discount on EMI transactions for Axis Bank Credit Card holders, Rs 5,000 off for HDFC Bank customers, and exchange offer of up to Rs 20,000 off.
• The discount is currently live on Flipkart so you can go ahead and purchase the MacBook. It's not confirmed though if the MacBook Air M2 will receive more discounts once the sale begins. 
• This deal is for the 8GB + 256GB SSD MacBook Air M2 running macOS Monterey.
• The 8GB + 512GB SSD model macOS Ventura is available at Rs 1,45,790 after a small discount from its original price of Rs 1,54,900. The macOS Monterey model is also available at a discounted price of Rs 1,32,990. It is originally priced at Rs 1,44,900.

• It's powered by the Apple's in-house octa-core M2 chip. 
• The MacBook comes in four variants with 8GB, 16GB and 24GB RAM options, and 256GB, 512GB, 1TB and 2TB SSD options. 
• You get a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, backlit Magic Keyboard, and Touch ID with the MacBook Air M2. 
• In the audio department, you get a four-speaker sound system, Spatial Audio support, and Dolby Atmos.
• Its connectivity options include a 3.5 mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, two Thunderbolt ports and four USB ports. 

Should you buy?

The discount on the MacBook Air M2 might not seem a lot, but with other offers combined it's a good deal. The device is slightly over a year old but it's running one of Apple's fastest chipsets for Macs. You get a compact 13.6-inch display, Touch ID, and the Magic Keyboard. An upgrade over this would be the MacBook Pro M2 but that's almost Rs 25,000 extra. So if you're looking for a more recent and fast machine then the MacBook Air M2 can be considered. 

Another option worth considering is the MacBook Air M1, which is a generation behind the M2. It will be sold under Rs 55,000 on Flipkart.
