Apple Pencil price in India, specifications

  • The updated Apple Pencil price is Rs 7,900 and the product will be available starting early November on the company’s India website.
  • Compatible iPads: It works with all iPad models with a USB-C port like the iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th generation), iPad Pro 11-inch (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th generation), iPad Air (4th and 5th generation), iPad 10th generation, and iPad mini 6th generation.
  • Weight and dimensions: It weighs around 20.5 grams. It is 155 mm in length and 7.5mm in width.
  • Connectivity: It sports Bluetooth connectivity and can also be paired with the iPad using a built-in USB-C socket.

  • Charging: You just have to slide the cap of the Pencil and the USB-C port will appear. Plug in a USB-C cable and refill it. Rest when it’s magnetically attached to a compatible iPad, it goes to sleep and saves battery life.
  • Input features: Apple advertises the Apple Pencil USB-C model comes with good precision, low latency to make the stylus feel like using an actual pencil on paper, tilting for shading and other effects, and hover functionality with M2-powered iPad Pro for previewing a mark before you actually jot it.

    Apple says the Pencil will be “ideal for note taking, sketching, annotating, journaling, and more”.
