ASUS 6Z and 5Z prices in India permanently cut, now start at Rs 16,999

ASUS 6Z and 5Z smartphones have received price cuts in India. The ASUS 6Z price in India has been slashed permanently for the first time since its launch in June (at a starting price of Rs 31,999). The handset's 6GB + 64GB model now costs Rs 27,999, the 6GB + 128GB variant sets you back by Rs 30,999 instead of Rs 34,999, and the 8GB + 256GB is now available for Rs 34,999 as opposed to the launch price of Rs 39,999. On the other hand, ASUS 5Z received a price cut back in July and will now sell at just Rs 16,999 for the 6GB + 64GB model. Its 6GB + 128GB now costs Rs 18,999 and the 8GB + 256GB model will set you back by Rs 21,999, instead of Rs 28,999. The new permanent price cut is already applicable on Flipkart.

ASUS 6Z and 5Z specifications

ASUS 6Z flaunts a 6.4-inch full-HD+ IPS NanoEdge HDR10 display, 19.5:9 aspect ratio, and Gorilla Glass 6. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 855 processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB onboard storage that is further expandable via microSD card support. The handset had already received Android 10 update in India. In terms of optics, the ASUS 6Z features a unique flip camera setup which houses dual cameras consisting of a 48-megapixel primary Sony IMX586 sensor and a 13MP wide-angle sensor with 125-degree field-of-view. The ASUS 6Z packs a beefy 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging tech. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C.

On the other hand, the ASUS 5Z packs a 6.2-inch full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC and comes in three variants − 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB onboard storage that is user expandable. It boots Android 9.0 Pie with Zen UI skin on top. In terms of optics, the ASUS 5Z rocks a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 12MP primary sensor and an 8MP secondary camera. There is an 8MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. The smartphone has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. A 3,300mAh battery fuels the handset.
