ASUS has launched the ZenFone 7 and ZenFone 7 Pro smartphones in Taiwan. Keeping true to rumours, both the Zenfone 7 and 7 Pro models come with the motorised flip camera design that was previously seen on the ASUS 6Z. The design enables both the phones to offer a notch-less 90Hz AMOLED display. Other key specifications of the ASUS ZenFone 7 series include the Snapdragon 865+ chipset, 5G support, 64MP triple cameras, 5,000mAh battery, and more.

ASUS Zenfone 7 and Zenfone 7 Pro price

ASUS Zenfone 7 Pro price in Taiwan is NT$ 27,990 (approx Rs 70,000) and it comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. While the Zenfone 7 is priced at NT$ 23,990 (approx Rs 60,000) and it comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The smartphones will be up for grabs in Aurora Black and Pastel White color options.

Asus Zenfone 7 Pro specifications

The ASUS Zenfone 7 Pro flaunts a 6.67-inch AMOLED with a 90Hz refresh rate. Notably, the front panel is covered entirely by the display with minimal bezels. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC paired with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

At the back, the ASUS Zenfone 7 Pro features a motorized triple camera setup, which rises up allowing us to use all three sensors for selfies snapper. The triple camera setup includes a 12MP Sony IMX363 ultra-wide-angle lens, a 64MP wide-angle Sony IMX686 sensor, and an 8MP telescope lens with 3x optical zoom up to 12x digital zoom along with an LED flash. Besides, the company claims that the newly designed shooting interface allows users to control the flip angle of the lens in real-time. With a single tap, you can flip to three specified angles or quickly reset the lens.

While the rear panel of the smartphone features a gradient finish along with the curved edges. The volume rocker keys are placed on the right side of the phone, while the SIM tray is located on the left side. At the bottom, the Zenfone 7 Pro houses a USB Type-C port for charging and data transferring, along with the speaker grill. The ZenFone 7 Pro is equipped with a large 5000mAh battery and supports 30W fast charging.

The ASUS Zenfone 7 also comes with a similar display as the Pro model. It sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ (2400×1080) HDR+ AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and 90Hz refresh rate with HDR10+ support. The smartphone draws power from the regular Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset paired with Adreno 650 GPU. The Zenfone 7 comes with an 8GB RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage. The rest of the specifications, including the cameras, are similar to the Pro model.
