ASUS ZenFone 8 and ZenFone 8 Flip specifications
ASUS ZenFone 8 is said to sport a 5.9-inch FHD+ Samsung-made E4 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass Victus, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 5G SoC paired with Adreno 660 GPU, up to 16GB RAM, and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone is likely to run Android 11-based ZenUI 8 custom skin.
As for the optics, the ZenFone 8 will come with a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor and a 12-megapixel wide-angle unit with a Macro. The phone is said to get a 12MP front camera, dual speakers, a linear vibration motor, 5G support, Bluetooth 5.2, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and a 3-microphone system with OZO audio. The phone packs a 4,000mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support. It measures 148 x 68.5 x 8.9mm and weighs 169 grams.
ASUS ZenFone 8 Flip is said to sport a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The phone has a motorised camera module that houses 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP macro lens. It measures 165×77.3×9.5mm and weighs 230 grams.
