BSNL increases plan validity of two prepaid plans

BSNL Rs 699 plan

The BSNL Rs 699 plan offered 130 days of validity earlier but this has been increased to 150 days now. This is a 20-day hike for customers. The pack offered 0.5GB of daily data (which adds to about 75GB of data throughout the validity), unlimited voice calling, and 100 SMS per day for the entire validity. The pack also offered a free personalised ringback tone (PRBT) for the first 60 days.

On the other hand, the BSNL Rs 999 plan offered 200 days of validity earlier but the same is now increased to 215 days. The changes are now deflecting on the website of the telecom operator.  The plan offers unlimited voice calling and 60 days of free personalised ringback tone (PRBT). However, there are no data or SMS benefits with the Rs 999 plan.

BSNL Rs 999

In contrast, BSNL recently reduced the validity of the Rs 99 plan. The plan earlier offered 18 days of validity but is being reduced to 17 days. It looks like the company wants customers to incline towards longer validity plans to secure a larger user base.

The telecom network is expected to deploy 4G BTS supplied by Tejas Networks in several parts of the country.
