OPPO A5 2020 price cut in India up to Rs 1,000 in offline stores

OPPO A5 2020 has received another permanent price cut in India. OPPO has announced a price drop of up to Rs 1,000 on the OPPO A5 2020, retail sources have told 91mobiles. With that, the OPPO A5 2020, which was previously retailing at Rs 11,990, will now be available on purchase starting at Rs 11,490 for the 3GB RAM variant. The OPPO A5 2020 4GB RAM variant price is also down to Rs 12,990 from Rs 13,990. This is the second price cut for the latest A-series handset from the brand since its launch, and it’ll be applicable to retail stores across the country from January 1st.

OPPO A5 2020 specifications

OPPO A5 2020, to recall, runs Androi d 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.0.1 out of the box. It sports a 6.5-inch waterdrop notch display with HD+ resolution and Gorilla Glass 3+ protection up top. The phone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 665 SoC under the hood, paired with 3GB/ 4GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage, and a microSD card slot (up to 256GB). OPPO A5 2020 6GB RAM variant was launched in India this week priced at Rs 14,990.

For photography, the OPPO A5 2020 rocks a quad-camera setup at the back, with a 12-megapixel primary shooter, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, 2-megapixel monochrome shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor for portraits. The front camera gets an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. An astounding 5,000mAh battery, which promises all-day usage, fuels the handset, while a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner takes care of the security. Other features include Dolby Atmos support, dual SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, headphone jack, 4G LTE, and other standard connectivity options. Lastly, the OPPO A5 2020 comes in two colour options – Dazzling White and Mirror Black.
