The POCO M5 will be available in Black, Yellow and Green colour options, while the POCO M5s will be sold in Black, Blue, and White colour options. Both phones will arrive as perfect budget and mid-range options for global markets. The POCO M5 is confirmed to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset and a 90Hz display.

POCO M5 and POCO M5s design

POCO M5: The POCO M5 has a waterdrop notch on the front for the selfie shooter and a sizeable chin below the screen. The volume rocker and power button with a fingerprint sensor embedded are on the right edge. On the back, the phone has a leather finish, which makes it a standout. There is a large horizontal housing on the back panel’s top portion and this houses triple camera sensors and an LED flash. We can see the phone in Green, Yellow, and Black colour options.

POCO M5s: On the other hand, the POCO M5s has an entirely different design language. There is a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper and slim bezels on all corners. The volume rocker and power button with a fingerprint sensor embedded are on the right edge. The back panel looks familiar with Redmi Note-series models. There is a square module that houses triple camera sensors and an LED flash. We also see POCO branding engraved. The POCO M5s will be sold in Black, Blue, and White colours.

According to our sources, the POCO M5 will be available in 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB models. The former is said to carry a price tag of EUR 189 (around Rs 15,000), while the latter will cost EUR 209 (approx Rs 16,600).

On the other hand, the POCO M5s will be available in 4GB+64GB 4GB + 128GB and they will carry a price tag of EUR 229 (approx Rs 18,200) and EUR 249 (around Rs 19,800).
