Toyota Kirloskar Motor Company recently took the wraps off the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Toyota’s first self-charging strong hybrid electric SUV. This much-awaited Urban Cruiser Hyryder is set to launch and commence sales on August 16th. Interested buyers can book the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder already by giving a token amount of Rs 25,000 at Toyota dealerships or Toyota’s official website.
Now, ahead of the launch, a camouflaged Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder in testing has been spotted on the roads in Delhi. Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder spotted on the road
The above clip shows us the rear of the camouflaged Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder. It gives us a rough idea of the car’s width, which does not seem very wide, and also reveals the small headlights and the absence of a fog lamp on the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
To recall, the teasers shared by the company showed a chunky rear design with LED DRLs and LED tail lamp highlights with signature patterns. We also saw the front grille in Chrome plating.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder price in India (expected)
Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder comes with a self-charging strong hybrid electric grade that will be made available with an electric drive gearbox and a 1.5-litre engine with THS (Toyota Hybrid System) that produces 116bhp with 122Nm of torque. It will also get an e-CVT transmission.
It is expected to retail around Rs 15 – 16 lakh (ex-showroom) in India.
