Google Pixel 8a price, storage, colours tipped

German publication WinFuture has learned from its retail sources that the Pixel 8a could come in a 256GB storage variant also. More particularly, it has found only the Pixel 8a black edition with this larger storage SKU. So, expect the phone in 128GB and 256GB models. The Pixel 7a came only in the former.

What’s surprising though is the WinFuture claim that the Pixel 8a 128GB model could start at 569.90 Euros (about Rs 51,282.95). That’s around a 60 Euro jump from the Pixel 7a’s starting price when it launched.

Meanwhile, the Pixel 8a 256GB model could cost 630 euros (around Rs 56,691.11).

The Pixel 8a could be available in multiple colour choices such as Mint (light green), Bay (light blue), Obsidian (black), and Porcelain (beige). We have seen the black variant in a leak recently.

Google Pixel 8a specs, design (expected)

Processor: Google could stow in an underclocked Tensor G3 SoC, along with Mali-G715 GPU and Titan G2 security chip.
RAM: The device has been spotted on Geekbench with 8GB RAM.

Battery: Inside, it could be carrying a 4,942mAh cell with 27W wired charging speed.
Software: The phone could ship with Android 14 and Pixel UI. Let’s see which AI features do trickle down to this variant from its higher-priced models.
Design: The Pixel 8a could share design cues from the Pixel 8 lineup like the camera visor, curvier edges, etc.
Display: On the front, there could be a 6.1-inch screen with a punch-hole cutout and thicker bezels than that of other Pixel 8 series models.
Cameras: Although, we don’t know the sensor specifics, the leaked designs reveal a dual camera setup on the back.
