The latter will arrive as a successor to the Pixel 7a and will be in the mid-range segment. Now, folks at MySmartPrice have spotted a new Pixel phone on the Demko Certification and this reveals the battery capacity. The handset in question could be the Pixel 8a.
Alleged Pixel 8a battery revealed
- The UL Demko certification revealed the upcoming Pixel phone will bear the model number GH2MB, as spotted by MySmartPrice.
- The listing confirms the Pixel 8a will be equipped with a 4,942mAh rated battery. This could be marketed as 5,000mAh.
- In comparison, the Pixel 7a shipped with a 4,385mAh. This means we are getting a significant jump in the battery capacity.
- Considering the significant jump in the battery capacity, there are chances the Pixel phone spotted on the UL Demko could be the Pixel 9 Pro or possibly the Pixel Fold 2.
- Google usually reserves the 5,000mAh unit for the top-end model like the Pixel 8 Pro.
