As if that wasn’t enough, we might even see the first GTA 6 trailer by next month in line with the publisher’s 25th anniversary. The report also notes that the game will be set in a fictional version of Miami, which is most likely Vice City and will see two primary protagonists, a man and a woman. GTA 6 is set to be one of the most anticipated games to be released in quite a while. The current iteration of the game, GTA V, was released a decade ago and still has fans playing it. It ranks at the number 2 spot in the list of the best-selling video games of all time with only Minecraft ahead of it. It is also one of the most financially successful entertainment products of all time.

Leaks and rumours about GTA 6 have been happening for years with most being dismissed as clickbait. However, last year we saw hackers leak hours of early test footage that revealed several details. The authenticity of the leak was confirmed when Rockstar themselves acknowledged the leak and stated that they which to “properly introduce you to this next game when it is ready.

One of the videos showed the protagonist holding up a diner to steal cash while the other showed the player walking around and driving. The videos were unpolished but showed how close the game was to being released. It was later revealed that a couple of teenagers were behind the leak. They were later arrested by the police.
