  • The two images don’t show much of the design except for the obvious HMD logo. The pink colour version appears to have a camera module present in the top-left corner.
  • The teaser video showed a rectangular module and this appears to house triple camera sensors.
  • The silver/grey-coloured phone is expected to come with support for the HMD Fusion case. The company already released a toolkit for developers on the HMD global website.

You can say goodbye to phone separation due to a broken screen and get swept up in the ‘FIY’ (Fix it Yourself) movement,” noted HMD while teasing the phone at the MWC 2024.

The HMD Barbie Flip phone will made in partnership with Mattel, which is well-known for brands like Barbie, Hot Wheels, etc. This flip phone will come in Pink colour and will be a feature phone offering.

Besides the Flip phone, there will also be a new HMD Fusion phone, which allows customisations. This could be the phone in grey in the teaser images. This will enable users to change the rear panel to suit their needs. Customers can also make hardware customisations by attaching hardware accessories and software customisations to cater to their requirements. At this point, we don’t know the specifications of any phone.
