HMD rebrands Nokia website officially

  • HMD Global has released a teaser video, confirming the brand’s aim to cater to a diverse range of customers in the market.
  • The video provides a preview of upcoming products, including smartphones, tablets, wireless earbuds, and more.

  • The brand’s website clearly outlines its intention to launch smartphones that are characterised as fun, secure, fast, and affordable.
  • Emphasising its global reach, the brand states its presence in over 200 countries, with a user base exceeding 400 million Nokia users since the takeover in 2016.

Details about the HMD Global phones

A recent 91Mobiles exclusive revealed a leaked render showcasing a Cyan-coloured smartphone bearing HMD branding on the back. The phone displayed a dual rear camera setup with a Cyan accent around the camera rings.

Notably, the rear camera module featured a “108MP OIS” badging, hinting at the phone’s headline feature – a 108MP camera sensor with optical image stabilisation support. It is worth noting that HMD Global will likely introduce its own-branded smartphones in the Indian market around April 2024.

Last year, reports mentioned that HMD Global is currently in the process of developing two new smartphones, as officially confirmed by information retrieved from the GSMA IMEI Database. While specific details about these smartphone models are yet to be disclosed, the confirmation of their existence adds to the competition among various smartphone manufacturers.
