Interestingly, Apple hasn't commented on the battery life concerns on iOS 16. It has released iOS 16.0.2 to the public but there's no mention of battery life improvements. iOS 16.1 is currently in the best testing phase. We're hopeful that Apple might improve the battery with subsequent iOS 16 releases.
