The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini Purple colour prices in India start at Rs 69,900 and Rs 79,990 for the base 64GB option. Both models will be available for pre-order starting from April 23rd and will start shipping from April 30th.

iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini specifications

The iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 feature 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch OLED Super Retina XDR displays, respectively. The screens supports 2532x1170p resolution and HDR support. Both the models get a wide notch at the top-centre that houses the selfie camera and Face ID tech. Apple has added Ceramic Shield on these iPhones to offer extra durability that can handle mishaps with ease.

Both the iPhone 12 models sport the same dual rear camera system that includes dual 12MP sensors with OIS, 120-degree FoV, f/1.8 aperture, and 2x optical zoom. The front of the phone houses a 12MP f/2.2 True Depth sensor for selfies and video chats.

The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini comes powered by the latest Apple A14 bionic chipset. You also get IP68 rating that makes the iPhones dust and water resistant. iPhone 12 series ships without a charging adapter.

Apple TV 4K with A12 Bionic chipset launched

The company has also refreshed its Apple TV 4K with support for high frame rate HDR and new A12 Bionic chipset. The company has also introduced the Siri Remote in an all-new design. An Apple TV upgrade was long overdue since the last model came out in 2017. And the Cupertino-based giant has used its Spring Loaded event this week to make that happen. With the TV market shifting to higher video resolution and quality, it was high time that Apple TV 4K supported high refresh rate codec. The quality will be further enhanced with the help of Dolby Vision.

The new Apple TV 4K comes in two storage variants. You can buy the 32GB model for $179 (approx. 13,425) and the 64GB option will be selling at $199 (approx. Rs 14,925). Apple TV 4K with new Siri Remote will be available from 30th April onwards.

The company has redesigned the Siri Remote to make it more feature-rich. Siri gets a dedicated button moves to the side of the remote which sits under your right thumb. In addition to this, the new Apple TV 4K comes powered by Apple A12 Bionic chipset that makes a big improvement on performance and graphics quality. It also supports Dolby Audio sound technology. The device still runs on the tvOS platform that caters to exclusive and wide range of content from different services.
