DxOMark ranks the iPhone 15 Pro Max as the best selfie camera phone

DXOMark has put the iPhone 15 Pro Max selfie camera to the test and the most expensive iPhone has come out with flying cameras.
The flagship iPhone has managed to score 149 points in the selfie test round.
This is the highest score in the DXOMark selfie camera round, grabbing the top spot from the iPhone 14 Pro Max from last year which scored 145 points in the same selfie round.
The test results say the new iPhone has managed to deliver good performance despite having the same camera setup as the predecessor.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max has managed to score 154 points in the overall camera DXOMark platform. This puts the iPhone below the Huawei P60 Pro, which scored 156 points.

Despite having the same selfie camera, the presence of A17 Pro and software enhancements could have led to an improvement in the camera performance. The DXOMark team is pleased with the exposure, colour and bokeh of the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The iPhone has managed to capture a high level of detail in photos and videos in good lighting conditions. The stabilisation was also apparently effective when holding the device still and moving while recording. The iPhone 15 Pro Max is said to have very accurate subject isolation in bokeh mode.

Positives aside, the DXOMark team has noticed some cons too. There is noise across all shooting conditions. There are occasional colour quantization artefacts in photos and videos. There are occasional sharpness differences between frames while recording videos while walking.
