iPhone 15 Pro Max delivery dates in India slip to November due to high demand

Highlights
  • iPhone 15 Pro Max delivery dates have slipped to November on the Apple Store online website.
  • iPhone 15 Pro is facing a delay of up to 4-5 weeks but many variants are available for pickup at physical Apple stores on launch day.
  • iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are relatively easily available with the maximum delay being the first week of October.

Apple started iPhone 15 series pre-orders globally, including in India, on September 15th. If you did not pre-order the iPhone 15 Pro models within the first couple of hours of the Apple Store website opening, you might face severe delays in deliveries now. Enthusiasts seem to be leaning towards the top-end iPhone 15 Pro Max, unsurprisingly, thanks to features like a 5X optical zoom system being exclusive to the model.

iPhone 15 Pro Max deliveries delayed to November in India

iPhone 15 Pro Max in the Natural Titanium and White Titanium colours are showing November 2nd-8th delivery week for all storage variants. Meanwhile, the Titanium Blue and Titanium Black colour options are now showing an estimated delivery of mid-October.

iPhone 15 Pro on the other hand is available as soon as next week but only for higher storage variants and Titanium Blue or Titanium Black colour options. The Natural Titanium and White Titanium colour options are only available for mid or late October. However, quite a few variants are still available for pickup through Apple Store Saket or BKC on September 22nd, just not for iPhone 15 Pro Max.

iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models are facing a delay of only one to two weeks in India with most variants being available for pickup on launch day at physical stores.

All four devices are also available through Apple-authorised premium resellers in India so those might be the last resort for people looking to get the iPhone 15 Pro Max on the first day of sales.

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus start at Rs. 79,900 and Rs. 89,900, respectively, while the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max start at Rs. 1,34,900 and Rs. 1,59,900, respectively. Given the high price tag, it would have been wise to assume that people could be wary of this year’s Pro Max model but Apple’s upgrades may have swayed loyalists into getting the first iPhone with a periscope zoom tech.
