The iPhone 16 series is expected to debut in September this year.
Separately, the iPhone 16 Pro colour options have also leaked online. Check out the details.
The placement of the new 'Capture button' on the top edge has its benefits. You will be holding the phone in landscape mode for better video recording and clicking pics. The addition of the button will mean a slight design for the US models of the iPhone 16. The millimetre wave 5G antenna opening would likely be relocated to the bottom left side of the phone, below the volume buttons. For other regions, this wouldn't be a problem as they rely on sub-6GHz bands.
Separately, the iPhone 16 Pro colour options have leaked. The company will introduce new Space Black and Rose colourway options with this year's Pro models. These might be offered in addition to white and gray colours. This also means the Blue Titanium option, which is currently available for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max might be dropped.
The Natural Titanium colour of the outgoing iPhone 15 Pro Max model will be rebranded to gray. The White Titanium is coming back but will be more of a 'silver white', something similar to the silver colour of the iPhone 14 Pro.
The source of this leak has been historically accurate about the iPhone 14 Pro purple colour in the past, which adds some weight.
