The compact iPhone is now costlier by Rs 6,000.
The new price hike comes just days after the iPhone 14 series launch, which starts at Rs 79,900 for the standard version. While the brand hasn't mentioned the reason behind the price hike but we can speculate it could be because of the rupee and US dollar conversion. Additionally, there's a rise in the price of components and logistics.

The iPhone SE 2022 which was launched at Rs 43,900 for the 64GB version is now priced at Rs 49,900. Similarly, the 128GB and 256GB models now cost Rs 54,900 and Rs 64,900, respectively instead of their launch prices of Rs 48,900 and Rs 58,900. The new price is reflecting on the Apple website.

It is powered by the latest A15 Bionic 5nm chip with 64-bit architecture, 4‑core GPU, and 16‑core Neural Engine. The iPhone SE 3 comes in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage variants.
The iPhone SE 2022 comes with a single 12MP primary rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, backed by a LED flash. It supports features like 4K 60fps video recording, Deep Fusion, night mode, cinematic video recording, and portrait mode. There is a 7MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats.
There is support for 20W fast charging and Qi wireless charging (not MagSafe) on the handset. Connectivity options include 5G (sub‑6GHz), Gigabit-class LTE, Wi‑Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, Ultra-Wideband chip for spatial awareness, NFC, GPS with GLONASS, and a Lightning port. It measures 138.4 x 67.3 x 7.3mm in size and weighs 148 grams. The iPhone SE 2022 is equipped with a Touch ID sensor for security and IP67 certification for water and dust resistance.
