The ongoing memory shortage continues to affect the smartphone industry, prompting Vivo and iQOO to increase the prices of several smartphones in a recent move. iQOO has increased the prices of its flagship, sub-flagship, and mid-range offerings, while Vivo has jacked up the retail price of its mid-range offering, T5 Pro. The latter has received a maximum price hike of Rs 3,000, while the iQOO 15, iQOO 15R, and iQOO Neo 10 are costlier by Rs 2,000.

| Vivo T5 Pro 8GB/ 256GB | Rs 36,999 | Rs 33,999 |
Notably, this marks the first price hike for the flagship iQOO 15, which debuted at Rs 72,999 late last year. The revised pricing is already reflected on the company’s official website and major e-commerce platforms. With memory costs showing little sign of easing, this won’t be the last time the prices of these smartphones are hiked. Industry observers believe the upward pricing trend could continue, potentially affecting more smartphones in the coming months.
Are these smartphones still worth buying?
Despite the latest price hike, iQOO and Vivo smartphones continue to offer strong value for money. The iQOO 15 and iQOO 15R still undercut their closest rivals, the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus 15R, respectively, while delivering competitive hardware. As a result, both devices remain among the most compelling options for buyers seeking performance-focused smartphones in their respective segments.
The situation is less clear-cut for the iQOO Neo 10. With the revised pricing, it now enters the same territory as the latest OnePlus Nord 6, which arguably presents a stronger overall package thanks to its larger battery and wider range of memory and storage configurations. This makes the competition significantly tougher for the Neo 10 than before.
The Vivo T5 Pro, meanwhile, remains a solid mid-range option at its current price point. While there are faster and more performance-focused smartphones in the segment, few can match its exceptional battery endurance. Thanks to its massive 9,000mAh+ battery, the T5 Pro delivers outstanding backup without sacrificing portability, making it one of the few smartphones to combine multi-day battery life with a relatively slim and easy-to-handle design.
