It states the form factor to be ‘standard’ with the chassis made out of ABS plastic material along with metallic hinges. The laptop will also come with chunky bezels around the screen, chiclet keyboard, and a large trackpad. As for the colours, the JioBook will come in a dark blue shade with no information on other colours.

As for the specifications, the JioBook rocks a 11.6-inch HD+ (1366 x 768p) non-touch display made out of backlit antiglare technology. The machine sports 720p resolution webcam in the centre above the screen. Powering up the laptop is the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset that can be found on several midrange phones. This particular SoC is based on 11 nm architecture with Adreno 610 GPU and is aided by an LPDDR4X 2GB RAM with 32GB eMMC-based internal storage. The JioBook laptop is said to get its juice from a Li-ion 55.1 – 60 AH capacity battery with a runtime of 6 to 8 hours. Apart from this, just like the custom software for JioPhone, Reliance has developed JioOS in partnership with Microsoft for the JioBook.
