“Moto G8 Power Lite specifications could include HD+ display, MediaTek Helio P35 SoC, 4GB RAM and Android 9.0 Pie OS”
Moto G8 Power Lite launch could be imminent as it was recently spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform and Bluetooth SIG certification. Now, the smartphone has also appeared on the Google Play Console listing, revealing key specifications including its display resolution, RAM, chipset details and Android version it boots. The listing also has a render of the phone, which shows a teardrop notch to accommodate the selfie camera and a sizeable chin beneath the display. It seems to have a polycarbonate build, which isn’t surprising considering the Moto G8 Power Lite could be a budget offering. Interestingly, the Moto G8 Power Lite render on the Google Play Console listing is different from the renders provided by WinFuture.de’s Roland Quandt earlier this month.
Moto G8 Power Lite specifications on Google Play Console
According to the Google Play Console listing, Moto G8 Power Lite specifications include the MediaTek Helio P35 SoC paired with 4GB RAM. The phone is listed with Android 9.0 Pie, although we hope the final product ships with Android 10. It will feature an HD+ 1,600 X 720 pixels resolution, but the display size is unknown at the moment. The Moto G8 Power Lite has managed to score 172 in the single-core test and 896 in the multi-core tests, respectively. The listing is more or less in line with previous reports on the Moto G8 Power Lite.
The Bluetooth certification listing previously revealed the Moto G8 Power Lite will have Bluetooth V4.2 connectivity on board. Other connectivity features could include dual SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, and USB Type-C port. Since it has the word ‘Power’ in the moniker, the Moto G8 Power Lite could have a beefy battery unit with fast-charging support. Lastly, it will have a physical fingerprint sensor embedded in the Moto dimple at the back. We should know more details going forward.
