Motorola G31 passes WiFi Alliance certification
Motorola is readying the Motorola G31 smartphone to succeed the Motorola G30 4G smartphone that debuted in India earlier this year. The new device has been caught listed on the NBTC website and has received clearance from WiFi Alliance. The WiFi Alliance certification website also reveals that the new Motorola G31 will be running Android 11 out of the box. It is likely that the device will be running a stock version of Android 11 with mild optimisations that enable some Motorola-specific software features. The listing on the WiFi Alliance certification website also states that the device will support dual-band Wi-Fi, i.e. 2.4Ghz and 5GHz.
It’s good to note that this isn’t the first time that the Motorola G31 has been spotted on different certification agency websites. Earlier the Motorola G31 had also made an appearance on Russia’s EEC website, where the model number assigned to the device was uncovered. We haven’t come across any further details of the Motorola G31 as of now. However, it can be assumed that the device will be out soon.
