Infinix is reportedly working on a new smartphone, and the device is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 900 chipset from MediaTek. The images of this device have been excavated by XDA Developers and show off the upcoming model’s design features and possible hardware choices. Infinix has been catering to the European and Asian market for some time now, and their devices have also served well in the Indian market. The budget segment saw the Infinix Hot 11 crowned victorious in our Indian Gadget Awards 2021. The new Infinix smartphone is expected to sport a full-screen display and a premium-looking design, as per the leaked images.
Upcoming Infinix smartphone leaked
The upcoming Infinix smartphone has been spotted in images leaked by XDA Developers. It shows off a glass sandwich design with a camera bump which houses a triple camera set up. The device in the picture has a black shade at the back and curves into the edges.
Upfront is a full-screen display with a chin at the bottom, which is likely an LCD panel as revealed by the dark colour shift near the top hole-punch selfie camera cutout. The display may support high refresh rates of 120Hz. As mentioned before, the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC is expected to power the device. It will also support 5G, as mentioned in labelling on the back panel. The triple camera housing is expected to house a 40MP main camera sensor. The phone will also supposedly come with a 30X zoom feature. The AI badging also suggests that the device might offer AI-powered camera features.
