Nokia G42 5G has been launched in India officially as the latest mid-range 5G offering from the brand. Unlike previous Nokia phones, the Nokia G42 is priced quite decently for the specifications it is offering. The company says the handset has undergone an industry-leading rigorous testing process, being drop-tested for a total number of 14 sides, corners, edges and faces. Internationally, the Nokia G42 5G comes with a user-repairability program in partnering with iFixit. This offers repair guides and OEM parts, including battery, display and charging ports for five years in the near future.

Nokia G42 5G price in India, sale

The Nokia G42 5G is priced at Rs 12,599 for the single 6GB + 128GB model.
The phone comes in So Grey and So Purple colours.
The handset will be available via Amazon starting from September 15th.

Display: The Nokia G42 5G features a 6.56-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 3 and a waterdrop notch for the selfie shooter.
Chipset: The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ SoC paired with Adreno GPU for graphics.
RAM and storage: 4GB/6GB RAM and 128GB storage that is further expandable via the microSD card slot. There is 5GB virtual RAM support.
OS: The Nokia G42 boots Android 13 OS out of the box.
Cameras: There is a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth module. There is an 8MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.
Battery: There is a large 5,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging support.
Connectivity: Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
