Nokia G42 5G has been launched globally as the latest mid-range offering. The company is focussing on repairability for the phone and is partnering with iFixit to bring repair guides and OEM parts, including battery, display and charging ports for five years in the near future. This is the company’s first user-repairable 5G phone. The handset ships with Snapdragon 480+ 5G phone, a 50MP rear camera, and a 5,000mAh battery.
Nokia G42 price
Nokia G42 is priced at €249 (approx Rs 22,400) for the 6/128GB model. The handset will be available in Purple and Grey colours. The brand hasn’t mentioned anything about the global rollout at this moment.

- Display: The Nokia G42 sports a 6.56-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 3 and a waterdrop notch for the selfie shooter.
- Chipset: The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ SoC paired with Adreno GPU for graphics.
- RAM and storage: The phone will come with 4GB/6GB RAM and 128GB storage that is further expandable via the microSD card slot.
- OS: The Nokia G42 will run on Android 13 OS out of the box and is promised to receive two years of security updates.
- Cameras: The handset packs triple cameras on the back, with a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth module. There is an 8MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.
- Battery: The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 20W fast charging support.
- Connectivity: Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
