Is Nothing launching its next product soon?
- The teaser image posted by the brand shows a face-off between a beetle and a frog with the date mentioned as April 18th, 2024.
- To recall, Nothing used a beetle to promote the Nothing Ear (2), so the frog could be an indication for the Nothing Ear (3).
- In another teaser image (posted below), we see various emojis that denote all the Nothing products, including Ear (1), Phone (1), Ear Stick, Ear (2), Phone (2), and Phone (2a). At the end, we see a question mark.
- Now, the question mark emoji gives way to a frog and another bug emoji.
- The product codename for the so-called “Frog” product could be “Cleffa,” based on another teaser posted by the company.
Nothing’s Community Manager Rob Godwin posted about Cleffa, alongside other Pokemon. For those unaware, all Nothing products have Pokemon codenames, while the marketing material had animals/insects/birds.
According to a cryptic post from tipster Arsene Lupin, the brand might introduce the Nothing Ear (3) and a new (a) product. We don’t know much about the latter but there are chances it could be a lower variant of the existing variant like the Nothing Phone (2a).
Since the Nothing Phone (2) launched in July and the Phone (2a) last month, there’s very little chance we might see a new Nothing smartphone at the Community event later this month.
Nothing Ear (3) features (expected)
The upcoming Nothing Ear (3) might retain a similar stem-like design as seen on the previous Ear (2) and Ear (1) models. Since these are new, we expect them to bring improved audio drivers and offer longer battery life. They have already received the BIS certification website, indicating the potential launch in India as well.
