Nothing is preparing to launch the Phone (2a), a more affordable version of the flagship Phone (2), in India and some other markets. Alongside the new phone, we might get to see a new audio product from Nothing as well. A new pair of wireless earphones was spotted on the Indian BIS certification website, suggesting a new TWS earbuds coming from Nothing. The brand currently has the Nothing Ear (stick), Ear (1) and Ear (2) in its audio lineup.

Nothing wireless earphones BIS details

  • A pair of wireless earphones was spotted on the BIS certification site with model number B162. The brand mentioned is Nothing so we’re expecting it to be a new TWS model that will most likely be an upgrade over the Nothing Ear (2).
  • It’s almost time for the Nothing Ear lineup to get an upgrade since the Ear (2) launched in March last year. There was a rumour about Nothing launching the new TWS in January but no such announcement took place. 
  • Nothing’s sub-brand CMF is also launching a new pair of TWS Buds soon but the one spotted on BIS seems to be different because of the model number.

For now, there isn’t anything we know about the new Nothing TWS but it should come with some upgrades over the Ear (2). To recall, the Nothing Ear (2) was launched at Rs 9,999 in India, and it comes in two colour options: Black and White.

  • With the Nothing Ear (2), you should get up to 26 hours of music playback on a single charge without ANC. The wireless earbuds come with fast charging support that is claimed to get you eight hours of power with just a 10-minute charge.
