Nothing Phone (2a) is one of the most anticipated phones right now. It’s going to be the third handset from Nothing, and one that’s going to be affordably priced than the previous models. There’s been a lot of talk around the Nothing Phone (2a) with the brand revealing its official design just yesterday.

Nothing Phone (2a): India launch date, expected price
- Nothing Phone (2a) is launching globally, and in India on March 5th. The launch event is scheduled to take place at 5pm IST for viewers here.
- Nothing Phone (2a) is tipped to cost around Rs 30,000 in India. This would make the device around Rs 6,000 lesser than the flagship Nothing Phone (2), which currently starts at Rs 36,000 in India.
- Nothing co-founder Carl Pei also suggested the Phone (2a) to cost lesser than the Phone (1). The latter launched at a starting price of Rs 32,999 in 2022.
- Nothing Phone (2a) is also confirmed to go on sale via Flipkart. There’s already a dedicated page for the upcoming Nothing device.
Nothing Phone (2a): design, colours
- Nothing Phone (2a)’s design has been officially revealed by the brand. It confirms previously leaked renders, and some big changes in terms of design.
- It has a similar transparent body like the Nothing Phone (2) but the Glyph Interface is only on the top part of the device. There are three LED lights surrounding the dual-camera setup, which is now placed at the centre.
- The back panel of the Nothing Phone (2a) has a patterned design but without the Glyph Interface. It also has flat edges much like the Phone (2), and the front will most likely have a punch-hole display.
- The teaser shows the White colour variant of the Nothing Phone (2a) but it’s expected to come in Black as well.

- Display: Nothing Phone (2a) is expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
- Processor: The brand has officially announced the Nothing Phone (2a) will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset.
- Cameras: The dual-camera setup could include a 50MP primary camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens at the back, and a 32MP front camera for selfies.
- Software: On the software front, the Nothing Phone (2a) will most likely run NothingOS 2.5 based on Android 14.
- Battery, charging: It could house a 4,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
