Recently, the smartphone’s display and camera details surfaced online and now a tipster has suggested that the phone will be costlier than the OnePlus 11 because of a few upgrades.

OnePlus 12 expected to get a price bump

On X (formerly Twitter), tipster Yogesh Brar said that the upcoming OnePlus 12 is expected to be priced higher than its predecessor because of a few reasons.

As per the tipster, the OnePlus 12 might feature a similar BOE display as the OPPO Find X6 Pro.
The tipster noted that this display is distinctive because it doesn’t have the green line problems that have been a recurring issue with past OnePlus devices.
Brar suggests that screens from Samsung Display and the Chinese manufacturer Tianma have experienced an excessive number of green line problems.

OnePlus 12 gets a BOE panel, the same that was used on OPPO Find X6 Pro.

This panel has not had any green line issues so far. Tianma & Samsung panels gave them too many issues.

This and the bigger battery + updated cameras means that the price of OnePlus 12 is going up..

The tipster believes that this, combined with a bigger battery and enhanced cameras, might make the upcoming OnePlus 12 more expensive than the OnePlus 11. However, he did not reveal the exact price of the upcoming phone.
It is worth noting that the OnePlus 11 is available in two configurations – one with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, priced at Rs 56,999.
Meanwhile, the higher-end version with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs Rs 61,999 in India.

OnePlus 12 specifications (expected)

OnePlus 12 is tipped to come with a 6.82-inch curved display with 120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits.
The upcoming smartphone is expected to be equipped with the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
The OnePlus 12 will likely sport a 50MP OIS main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide camera and a 64MP periscope telephoto sensor.
The OnePlus is said to house a 5,400mAh battery with 100W fast wired charging tech.
The top-end model of the OnePlus 12 will likely feature up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
The OnePlus 12 is expected to be available in colours like Green, Black, and White.
