OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is launching in China on August 16th and ahead of that, the company has confirmed some key specifications, including the display and battery of the upcoming smartphone.
Here are the display details that OnePlus has revealed about the upcoming Ace 2 Pro:
- The phone will feature a 6.74-inch flexible OLED display with a BOE Q9+ screen.
- The display will have a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1600 nits.
- It will support 1.07 billion display colours and have HDR10+ certification.
- The screen will include 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, suitable for low-light use.
- The smartphone will have TUV Rheinland global eye protection certification.
The BOE Q9+ screen on the Ace 2 Pro offers:
- Colour cast improvement compared to its predecessor.
- Better night light optimization and improved brightness.
OnePlus has also confirmed:
- The upcoming OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will have a 5,000mAh battery.
- The phone will come with 150W SUPERVOOC fast charging technology, claimed to fully charge in 17 minutes.
- The upcoming phone will include a GaN charging adapter, supporting 45W PD charging and dual USB Type-C output.
It has already been confirmed that the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It might have a maximum of 24GB of RAM, but it’s expected to come in 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB RAM variants.
The Ace series is only available in China, but it’s anticipated to be introduced to international markets under a different name. It should be noted that the OnePlus Ace 2 was launched worldwide as the OnePlus 11R.
