OPPO A5 2020 was launched back in September in two variants — 3GB + 32GB model priced at Rs 12,490 and 4GB + 64GB version priced at Rs 13,990. Now, the company has unveiled a new OPPO A5 2020 6GB RAM variant with 128GB internal storage. Apart from the bumped up RAM and storage, the rest of the specifications and design are identical to previous variants. OPPO A5 2020 is powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC, runs on Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS skin on top, and there is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The handset rocks quad-camera setup at the back consisting of a 12MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with 119-degree field of view, 2MP depth sensor, a 2MP macro lens.

OPPO A5 2020 6GB RAM variant price in India is set at Rs 14,990 and is now available across various offline stores in India. The OPPO A5 2020 3GB + 32GB version received a recent price cut and is available for Rs 11,990.
OPPO A5 2020 sports a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 1,600 x 720 pixels resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protection and a waterdrop-style notch for the selfie snapper. Other OPPO A5 2020 specifications include an octa-core Snapdragon 665 SoC with Adreno 610 GPU, up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage that is further expandable via microSD card. It boots ColorOS 6.0.1 based on Android 9.0 Pie.
On the front, there is an 8MP snapper for selfies and video calls. OPPO A5 2020 measures 163.6×75.6×9.1mm and weighs 195 grams. There is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, Dolby Atmos and dual stereo speakers for an immersive audio experience. Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS. A 5,000mAh battery fuels the handset.
