OPPO Find N6 launching on March 17th in China; teaser confirms colours, storage options

Highlights
  • The OPPO Find N6 is teased to have a crease that is barely visible.
  • The device will have stylus support and could pack a 6,000mAh battery.
  • The OPPO Find N6’s India availability is unconfirmed.

OPPO has confirmed that its next foldable smartphone, the Find N6, will debut in China on March 17th, as leaks had earlier reported. The company has also released an early teaser video showing the phone’s design, colour options and some of the engineering changes it’s introducing with this generation.

One of the key areas OPPO is highlighting is the crease on the inner foldable display. The company says the Find N6 uses a new hinge design that combines a titanium alloy hinge with a memory glass layer in the display. The hinge is designed to distribute physical stress more evenly when the phone is folded or unfolded, while the memory glass layer is intended to help the screen return to a flatter shape once opened. Crease visibility remains one of the most common concerns with foldable phones. Brands including Samsung have gradually improved hinge designs over several generations of foldables, but the crease hasn’t disappeared completely. OPPO’s marketing pitch with the Find N6 is to that effect.

The foldable will also support a new OPPO AI stylus designed for writing, note-taking and sketching on the large internal screen. Stylus support is still relatively uncommon among book-style foldables outside Samsung’s Galaxy Fold lineup and the Motorola Razr Fold that has just been showcased, so the addition could make the Find N6 more useful for productivity and creative work.

OPPO’s official pre-orders page confirms that the Find N6 will be available in three colours: Golden Orange, Original Titanium and Deep Black. Orange is quite in vogue this season ever since Apple popularised it with the iPhone 17 Pro series. OPPO buyers will also get three storage options: 12GB + 256GB, 16GB + 512GB, and a top-end 16GB + 1TB storage variant. The highest configuration is expected to include satellite connectivity support.

Full specifications haven’t been announced yet, but leaks from Chinese tipsters suggest the Find N6 may feature an 8.12-inch inner display and a 6.62-inch cover screen. The phone is expected to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 by Qualcomm. Reports also point to a battery close to 6,000mAh with support for fast charging, which is a big deal for foldables. Camera hardware could also see an upgrade. According to the leaks, the Find N6 may include a 200MP Samsung HP5 primary sensor along with two 50MP Samsung JN5 sensors for ultrawide and periscope telephoto cameras.

We can’t say much about the Find N6’s India availability. OPPO’s foldable lineup has often overlapped with devices from OnePlus in international markets. The OnePlus Open, launched in October 2023, was essentially a rebranded version of the OPPO Find N3. While the Find N5 debuted globally in February 2025, it never launched in India, and earlier reports had suggested it could appear locally as the OnePlus Open 2, which didn’t really happen. In India, the most recent OPPO foldable release remains the clamshell Find N3 Flip, which launched in October 2023 at Rs 94,999.

For now, the Find N6 is confirmed only for China. If OPPO continues its previous strategy, the device or a closely related model could eventually appear in other markets through OnePlus.
