Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G battery capacity revealed by Oppo VP Brian Shen

“Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G is confirmed to come with a 4,025mAh battery despite being a slim phone with a thickness of 7.7mm.”

Oppo VP Brian Shen has now revealed the battery capacity of the Reno 3 Pro 5G just a day after teasing the phone’s design. In a new tweet, Shen confirms the Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G will come with a 4,025mAh battery. This contradicts past reports that the Oppo Reno 3 would pack a 4,500mAh battery. While the official battery capacity is smaller than what was rumoured, the Oppo VP believes it is enough to keep up with “users needs of power and speed.” Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G will pack a 4,025mAh battery despite being a slim phone with a thickness of 7.7mm, Shen adds.

Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G specifications

Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G and a vanilla Reno 3 5G are expected to launch in December with ColorOS 7. The Oppo VP teased the design of the Reno 3 Pro 5G, confirming that the phone will come with a glass body, notchless display with a curved screen and a slim profile at just 7.7mm thickness.

Both the Oppo Reno 3 smartphones are said to come with the upcoming Snapdragon 735 mid-range chipset with an integrated 5G modem. Qualcomm is expected to announce this process in a few days at the Snapdragon Summit which begins from December 3rd. The OPPO VP said the Reno 3 Pro 5G will be the thinnest dual-mode 5G phone in its price segment.

Oppo Reno 3 5G is also tipped to come with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. The smartphone will also sport a 6.5-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Oppo Reno 3 5G is also rumoured to come with a 60MP quad camera setup. While Shen has confirmed the battery capacity of the Reno 3 Pro 5G as 4,025mAh, it is speculated that it will come with 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging support.
